Hello SBIG, I have a STXL6303 camera and its power supply with the 8 pin connector. I would like to build myself the 8 pin female to 6 pin male adapter cable. Is it sufficient to connect the wires according to the following diagrams? : 8 pin female: 1,2,4,6: 12V 3,5,7,8: - (Return) 6 pin male: 1,5,6: 12V 2,3,4: - (Return) It will be a 1.5 meter (5 ') long cable. Are there any pins that need to withstand a higher current (for example for peltier cells) or are 8 equal 18 gauge wires (0.8 mm2) sufficient? Thanks for your attention, sorry for my poor english and best regards from Italy. Aldo Proietti
