    Hi,
Can someone tell me the size of the small black screws used to attach the faceplate etc. of the ST cameras and filter wheels? Is there a good source from which to order replacements, like McMaster- Carr?

    Thanks!

The thread block is fastened using four:

    McMaster 96640A056
Black-Oxide 18-8 Stainless Steel Phillips Flat Head Screws
82 Degree Countersink Angle, 4-40 Thread, 3/8" Long

The front cover of the camera is attached using six:

    McMaster 96640A057
Black-Oxide 18-8 Stainless Steel Phillips Flat Head Screws
82 Degree Countersink Angle, 4-40 Thread, 7/16" Long

Thanks for the quick reply Doug! I should have been more specific. The ones I’m looking for have a round head:

It's not clear to me where that screw is intended to go. But you can figure this out easily enough.

Judging by the photo it looks like a 4-40. Measure how long the threads are, and that will be the length. Then look it up in McMaster Carr, 18-8 Stainless Steel Phillips pan head screw, 4-40 x (length), black oxide.
