STC 428-P dark frame Problem

    Why do my STC 428-P dark frames look like this (fits file attached)? The results are the same whether I use the filter wheel shutter slot or cover the corrector plate with the dust cover.

    Looks normal for a CMOS sensor.

    Bear in mind that the screen stretch seriously exaggerates things - there's only a 5 ADU difference. It will subtract out.

    Pro tip:
    File... Settings... Site and Optics tab.
    Add your location and optical parameters.
    That will be important for future images and guiding.
