Colin, Doug, I am retiring my old Lenovo and moving to a new HP elite. I need to transfer my Maxim DL license. Please advise how best to do this. You recall that I have two licenses for Maxim, one for here and one at the SRO. It's the home license I have to transfer. Thanks. Eric
First, find your license email - you'll need that! Uninstall the software from your old computer. Install the software on your new computer. Enter the license. Done.
Thanks Doug. I am all set, I think. I have another question. Can Maxim use the ephemerides downloaded from JPL to improve tracking? I do solar imaging and tracking is a real problem. And I am trying to find a way to improve it on a 5,000 mm folded refractor.
Sorry, no. Does your mount allow adjustment to the tracking rate? Many mounts do. That's really all that is needed.
