    Hi All,

    A new STT-8300M owner here.
I need to calculate the backfocus to get the right spacers to connect my SST to FSQ-85 (+ reducer).

I found there are DIFFERENT backfocus data from SBIG website.

For example, from the backfocus table -- the camera-only STT is 16.2mm
    https://www.sbig.com/support/product-documentation/backfocus-table/

However, from the product pdf file -- it is 17.5mm
    https://www.sbig.com/site/assets/files/1402/stt8300_051612.pdf

Which one I should trust ?
Is the backfocus table still the right one ?
    Thanks.

    -Kai

    Tim,

    Thanks for the quick response.
Can I assume this is also applied to the STT-830om that you guys sold last year (2014?).
    I got mine used ...

    Hi Tim,

Is the information in the link correct for all STT 8300 regardless of date of manufacture?

    Thanks, Tim.

As a matter of interest, the numbers given in the table for STT8300+Standard Filter Wheel with 3mm filters+Faceplate add up to 0.4mm shorter than previous numbers I obtained in 2013.

    Regards,
    Mark
