Hi. The camera powers up fine and I have a green light that shows the voltage is correct, but the camera is not showing up in device manager. I have changed USB cables and USB ports, but no show. Any thoughts? thanks Martin
Are there any "Unknown Device" or yellow warning signs in the Device Manager? /!\ Anything in the Windows Event Log - System log in an Error state? Other than trying another computer, likely it would come in for repair. @Tim anything you can add?
No, I think you mentioned the key points. If nothing shows up in Device Manager, and a different computer does the same thing, it will need to come in for service.
The guy who sold me the camera also supplied 2 replacement boards. I replaced the digital board, and all is well. That leads me to a question about sparing. I have 3 x STXL11002, 2 x STXL16200 and 2 x STX16803 cameras. I presume the 2 mainboards for the STXL cameras are the same, so would it be possible to purchase one of each before they become unavailable?
