    I saw the article about the damage that was done to the observatory. I am curious to know if the people who did this have been caught. Since there is film of their truck, I am hoping that the authorities might have been able to identify them.

    Hi Mike, the police are actively working on it - apparently there is clear video of one of the suspects. Thanks for your support.

    It's been a bit of time since this post but I figured I would update... Yes the individuals were caught shortly after the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada Hamilton Centre
    provided the video to the police. They had also orchestrated several other break-in across Southern Ontario so they were already well known to law enforcement. Since the incident we've been able to get back to regular business and we often host a Friday Night Sights public astronomy night at the observatory.
