Finally got some good weather on PA, and had some good imaging time at the Cherry Springs Star Party. I have enclosed my image from this year's Star Party. This is a reprise of a view that I did 9 years ago in Illinois, with an SBIG STT-8300, which is posted on Astrobin under the username vgiranda. It has the Lagoon nebula, the trifid nebula, and the cat's paw nebula (along with an open star cluster, M21). We had three great nights at the CSSP this year (ties my record). ~ 35 180-second frames in each Lum, R, G, B. Using an SBIG Aluma 455 (IMX455 full frame chip) on a Stellarvue SVQ 100 mm F5.4 scope. The posted picture is a 4X reduction of the full sized image.
