    Hello,

I have acquired an STC-428-P with SC-2E guider. I am wondering what the backfocus distance from the sensor to what seems like an M54 plate is. I have attached some images to show what the stack up looks like. I tried checking legacy documentation and the backfocus spreadsheet but wasn't sure which options to pick. Thanks in advance!

In the backfocus calculator spreadsheet you should pick STC-428-OEM and FW8-8300. Those two products were combined to make the STC-428-P.

    Doug,

Thanks for the reply. Are there any adapter plates with M48 female threads for sale? M68? I am aiming for 55mm backfocus but it appears with what I have I will have a bit too much.

We used to sell M48 plates but we don't have any left, and unfortunately there isn't enough demand to warrant making more. We're mostly making larger format cameras now.

You can order custom adapters from https://www.preciseparts.com/ - specify "SBIG Aluma Camera (bolted)".
