For some time now I've noticed what appears as ghostly looking luminance frames and it's random. You might have 10 images that are fine while the next looks "ghosted". That being out of focus and a pale grayish. Some will be completely gray blanks but the oddest part of tis seems to be that it's only when the luminance filter is in play. Exposure length makes no difference that I can see.

Looking back over several nights and this is consistent. In my original post it was suggested that we bake the desiccant which was done yet no difference was seen but then again I didn't see that it was the luminance only data. I haven't gone back to looking deeper yet but this is about as odd as it gets. There are good usable images with the luminance filter so it isn't the filter.

    I'm completely lost on this.

Curious. It's something we will want to test in-house. We don't have an AC4040BSI camera at the moment, but hopefully we'll be building another soon.
