Hello, We have an AFW50-7S filter wheel that we are using with an FLI camera in MaxIM DL. We had a catastrophic failure of our computer last year, and we cannot find the appropriate driver anywhere to get MaxIm DL to recognize the filter wheel. There does not appear to be an ASCOM driver that will work. Where can we download a copy of the correct driver so that MaxIm DL will recognize and connect with our filter wheel? Thanks!
We had an Apogee driver that was working before the computer crash. We weren't using an FLI driver. We replaced our old Apogee Alta cameras with the FLI camera, could it be that we were using an Alta driver to control the filter wheel?
Ah, sorry, I'm not familiar with all the part numbers. @Colin Haig do you have any idea of where to find a driver?
That filter wheel was made by Apogee, not the old FLI. Apogee got bought by Andor, which in turn was bought by Oxford Instruments. It's been a few years since I've seen one of these. If I recall correctly, the first thing is to get the Apogee/Andor/Oxford Windows drivers installed and the Apogee Demo Program working, so that Windows can control the filter wheel. Then you need an ASCOM driver to talk to the Windows drivers.
