Updating camera firmware in Maxim

Here's a pro tip:
You can update firmware for the Aluma, STC, and SC cameras from within MaxIm.

Camera firmware updates are here:

Make sure you have the latest version of MaxIm and the firmware.
Help... Check for updates will bring you to a page with the latest MaxIm version.
MaxIm updates normal include updated DL Imaging drivers as part of the installation.

I've attached a screen shot showing the steps:


After a successful update:
1. Close all Maxim windows and exit.
2. If the camera has an SFP+ network connection (like the AC455, 461, etc), wait for the LED to return to the orange blinking state which means it is safe to power off.
3. Power off the camera and wait a full 60 seconds before turning it back on.
(eg turn off the AC power to the power pack)
