Hi, my name is William Smith, I am on the board of Dark Skies here in Westcliffe, Colorado. Don (newyearskid) told me to contact you folks. I have a Celestron C14 with the computerized hand controller. I am trying to connect it to a computer to simplify the telescope for visitors to our observatory in Westcliffe. Don told me that you folks have one of the Hand controllers connected to a computer, will you share how you accomplished this?
The current Celestron ASCOM driver (which I maintain) is claimed to be able to operate with the Ultima 2000 mounts, I don't know if that would work but it might be worth a try. If it works, even a little bit, then try to collect a log file. Chris
