A little question on RBI

    If i am using RBI preflesh on my SBIG 16200 and i use ACP and FM4 , can i have some problem on focusing?
    i am asking this because i have strange problem on focusing with FM4.

    RBI Preflash would have no impact on focus. What "strange problem" are you having?

    Aquirestar loses the star when it begin to change the focus to find the flux

    And it does not do this if RBI is turned off?

    Sorry Doug, as i am in remote and many setting and setups are made by my techinician can you give some instruction to control the RBI setting? I see on ACP sometimes that the status of camera says 'flushing' .... is it the Rbi flash?

    For SBIG cameras under MaxIm DL (and therefore ACP) the "Readout Mode" controls whether RBI is enabled or not. There are settings for controlling the duration of the preflash and the number of flush cycles is in the Setup dialog:

    That said, I would simply turn off RBI as you probably don't need it. All front-illuminated CCDs are subject to it to some degree, but RBI isn't normally a problem with the KAF-16200.

    Sorry if i am a fastidious person but is it sure that i find button to disable the RBI flush? on the link it is not clear.....

    Sorry again, normal mode is without RBI?
