When running ACP #Subframe directives, I get serious banding in my AC4040M FITS images.

The banding immediately goes away when I remove the #Subframe directive to get full-frame images. I've tried #Subframe 0.95 (to remove 102 pixels from each edge) and #Subframe 0.9375 (to remove a nice 128 pixels). MaxIm 6.30 reports the correct subframe offset and dimensions, but it yields banded images every time. Using or not using the overscan region makes no difference.

I need to subframe images from this camera. How do I do that?

Hi Eric, can you provide some sample FITS images showing the issue?

I have uploaded 3 example files. They may be downloaded directly from ericdose.com/SBIG/

MP_2356-0001-GG495.fts : ACP Subframe 0.95, severe banding, useless for photometry.
MP_2356-0002-GG495.fts : ACP Subframe 0.9375, some banding, doubtful for photometry.
MP_2356-0003-GG495.fts : No ACP Subframe (full frame 4112 x 4096), no banding visible, suitable for photometry.

Many more images if you need them--I lost 93 of 127 images last night from this problem.

Thanks for the samples. I'll discuss with colleagues and get back to you.

Please confirm by running the DL Config Utility that you are running DL Imaging driver 2.7.1.0 and Firmware Revision 14.
