How do I get access to the SBIG Software Developer Kit. The SBIG web site says "SBIG encourages and supports third party software development. Please e-mail us to request access to our Software Developer page." After clicking in the link provided and asking about how to get access, I got an email back saying " Thank you for contacting SBIG technical support. As of October 1, 2014, Diffraction Limited, will be providing customer service, repair and warranty support for all SBIG products. Therefore, please direct your technical or customer support question to Diffraction Limited's Help Desk: http://www.diffractionlimited.com/forum/ For SBIG sales and product information please call Diffraction Limited at (613) 225-2732."
Sorry I did not mention it in the original message that I am interested in the MAC OS X version of the SBIG Software Developer Kit .
You can download Windows & Linux development kits from: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/b1jw66sg6wxuvkl/AABuaoTzXVBvXZaRhaU0s8mua?dl=0 Regards, Jan
As far as I know, we have no software development kit for Mac, you should download and install Mac driver ie. SBIGDriverInstallerUniv.dmg file, then create a new project in XCode and try similar things we have in linux development kit. Regards, Jan
Thanks Jan. I have just downloaded the Windows and Linux development kits from the link you provided and will take a look. Regards, d_h_s
Hi, How do I get access to the SBIG Software Developer Kit? I checked in the above link and it says the files are deleted.
I'll ask my colleague @Adam Robichaud to assist you. The old ST-series cameras use the SBIG Universal Driver SDK, and I believe he may have some ideas on python.
The official SBIG Universal Driver SDK for Windows is found here: https://diffractionlimited.com/downloads/sbig/WinDevKit.zip
Hi Colin, Can you provide me access to the SBIG software developer kit for Linux also? Thanks and Regards, Ramya
