Is there a 2" nose piece for the STXL camera? It would need to thread into the 3" accessory plate on the camera and slide into the 2" Crayford focuser.
Hi Craig, The 3" part on the front of the camera is part # 1951. I have attached the drawing to this email. If you want to add a 2" barrel to the front of the camera you would need a custom part. Thanks Tim. I am surprised SBIG doesn't offer adapters such as these for their cameras. The 2" nose piece for the STXL cameras should be a common item. Probably not the 1.25 because it is too small, but the 2" should be okay. Anyway, I went ahead and ordered the item from Optec.

I'm not sure if that part fits the STXL camera because it uses a 3" adapter. I think the one you mentioned fits a 2" camera adapter. But yes, this is what we need for the STXL camera and filter wheel.
