Hello, I am having problems taking pictures of the day with the allsky 340M, these are completely saturated, even with the minimum integration time of 0x000000 secs. I am using a script based on the program https://github.com/badders/pyallsky. The funny thing is that we connect it to a PC in windows and using the windows program, we could obtain some information in the image as you can see. I would like to know if there is any kind of ADC gain, that I could change to the camera, with the serial protocol to obtain a similar result from python to the windows program. Thank you
Communications protocol for the AllSky is described here: http://diffractionlimited.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/SG4_AllSky-340_SerialSpec.pdf
It is simple to remove the dome - in fact replacements are available if it gets damaged - remove four screws on the hold-down ring. When reinstalling do not over-tighten.
