My UPS died this morning. I replaced it and now my Allsky 340 software is reporting a .NET Famework error. "unhandled exception has occurred in your application. Configuration system failed to initialize". If I click continue, the program opens and freezes requiring an alt-ctrl-del. I've tried repairing, uninstalling, reinstalling but still get the error. Can someone help with this error? Thanks, Dan Ford
Sounds like an operating system problem or some system corruption. Which OS ? e.g. Win 7 64bit pro ? Have you run a chkdsk /f and an sfc /scannow ?
