    Hi,
on the manual of the AO-L we can see this :

    "Hints/Troubleshooting:
Stray light: There may be some concern about the gap above the AO-L window
and the AO-L front plate aperture. At F/5 light passing through the gap will NOT hit the
CCD, and there should be no stray light associated with it."

I would like to know if there is the same problem with the new AO-X.

    I have a 20" reflector F/3.3 and an ASA 4" corrector.

Another question : is it possible to connect an AO-X on a STL11K ?

    Thanks,
    Fred

The window on the AO-X is very large, and there isn't a large gap above the window as in the AO-L design.

The AO-X should be electrically compatible. I haven't looked into whether it is mechanically compatible, or whether it would require some kind of adapter plate.

Ok, thanks but it would be necessary to be sure about it !! :)

No problem for me to make an adapter plate :)

All SBIG I2C accessories are compatible, as far as I am aware. Unfortunately I can't test it for you because we don't have an STL camera here.
