I'm trying to figure out the total weight on a focuser if I had a 16803 (5 pounds), filter wheel e.g FW7 (?3 pounds) and AOX (?2.2) Now where does the AOX go in this set up? Does it go in front of the filter wheel or does it go on a guide scope or where? If it goes in front of the filter wheel that's close to 11 pounds of weight? That's a lot of weight! Thanks Dave
Dave, The AOX would be the last device before your focuser. STX/FW7/AOX/FOCUSER/SCOPE AOX 2.2 lbs STX-Guider 1 lbs FW7-STX 4.3 lbs STX-16803 5lbs Call if you need help. Cheers Tim
OK thanks Tim. Last question regarding the image train of this is what is the required backfocus with everything: Camera, AOX, FW7 STX. I was only able to find the backfocus requirements for camera only. Regards Dave
