Apogee U16M hangs on taking image

    My Apogee U16M connects with Maxim, except for once, the image taking hangs. The camera works fine with SGP.

    I can't make any sense of your log - it looks like you keep disconnecting the camera, forget to power it up, or have cable problems.
    One tip: Camera Control Window - Setup Tab - Camera [Options] - turn off (uncheck [ ]) the Threading settings:

    Will try to connect now. Did you install the Apogee drivers from the Oxford Instruments website?

    I connected but just get a black screen.

    The drivers are installed; I will check the computer now.

    Again, no luck, black screen, no control available.
    Let's schedule a time tomorrow when you can actually be available.

    I got the Apogee to work with the ASCOM driver and threading turned on.
