Should the ASCOM driver, DL Imaging Camera 2, allow operation of an AO-8 when connected to a SC-2 OAG? I am using the SkyX camera add on to do imaging and guiding with an Aluma 8300, SC-2 on the SB MX+. The option to calibrate the AO stays grayed out. Anyone using this combination?

Anthony I'm not quite following what you're asking.
e.g. not sure if this is an ASCOM question or a TheSky question.

ASCOM itself does not have support for any AO devices (neither ours nor Starlight Xpress).
TheSkyX has support for older SBIG cameras that had a guide sensor inside or remote guide head or self-guiding filterwheel.

About 2 years ago we sent Software Bisque a new camera package that runs on the DL Imaging drivers, and it includes an Camera, FW, self-guiding, and AO8A. They never finished the work to get the DL Imaging stuff running.

So, why not just use MaxIm DL Pro to run the equipment?
