    Hi,
I have a FW-8G on my Aluma CCD694. I have a problem with the mirror (another thread) but thought I should at least check what's happening. Attached is the image I get from the autoguider CCD. Has anyone seen this before? Can I get a new autoguider assembly, including the mirror?

    Cheers

The most likely cause is a broken HDMI cable. It's also possible that the connector in the camera or the guider is damaged.

Try changing the cable first. Be sure to use a good quality one.

Thanks Doug, swapped in the one from my Apple TV, which is very fussy about HDMI cables, that seems to have fixed the picture quality.
