I want to use an off axis guider with my f3.6 Newtonian. I will be using a Televue Paracorr 2 which has a backfocus of 57 mm. Can anyone tell me how the oag-8300 works as far as backfocus. That is, with the relay system, is the backfocus of the oag-8300 going to the guide camera identical to the backfocus going to my st-8300 color camera. Sent from my SM-P905V using Tapatalk
Never mind. It looks to me as though the backfocus of the OAG, plus spacer (or filterwheel), plus camera backfocus is greater than 57 mm. Sent from my SM-P905V using Tapatalk
