Hi, I was looking at the new StarChaser SC-2 (STF cameras) I see it adds a 20.3mm backfocus...is there an accessory available to make it a drop in replacement for the 23mm AOG-8300?. My f4 imaging train uses a reducer that requires a certain backfocus, the SC-2 would need a new custom made adapter
The OAG-8300 without adapter plate is 0.75" thick. The StarChaser SC-2 without adapter plate is 0.8" thick. Not bad when you consider this includes the camera! Our standard adapter plates add 0.15".
