There seems to be a bug in the STC-7 firmware that is reproducible 100%. To create:
Power up camera with 2x2 binning initially set. Take several binned frames. Select 1x1 binning, take a frame and the camera hangs Maxim on the download and eventually disconnects.

Remedial Fix - DONT DO THAT! Start an exposure with 1x1 binning and then STC-7 is 100% function.

Power cycling the STC-7 and start with a 1x1 bin resolves issue.

    Log file attached...

    Can anyone confirm?

Confirmed as a firmware bug. We will release a firmware update in due course.

In the meantime... please use the simple workaround! Take your first image with 1x1 binning.

Please try the attached firmware, and let us know if it resolves the issue. If so we will release it generally.

Hi Tim, if you're available I'd also like to set you up with a beta version of our driver that should resolve the issue.
