We upgraded the drivers & firmware on our STT-8300M / FW8GSTT a couple of weeks ago. We updated CCDOPS this past weekend to the latest version. I'm not sure when this problem/annoyance started, but we just noticed it tonight. Before all the updates, we would establish the link with the camera, and it always linked with the filter wheel also. Now we have to establish the link with the camera, and THEN go to the Filter Setup to get the link to the filter wheel. Is this normal?
