How can I get the software too only take the darks and lights, without stacking them? I have tried several times with "Track and accumulate" to take both mono and RGB of objects but every time, it stacks them all into one photo. I want the raw data, so I can stack and process in another soft ware package.
You can use the "Grab" command to take individual dark or light frames. The Track and Accumulate Command is used to take several short duration images and automatically co-register and co-add them to get the benefits of a longer exposure without having to guide. CCDOps is free and very basic acquisition software for SBIG cameras. If you need something more robust, you may want to look at a more full featured program such as MaxIm DL instead.
