Dear technical support: My club recently purchased an STF 8300C and I am the member charged with getting the software to work with the new camera. CCDOps seems to be working fine, but when I tried installing CCDSoft, my serial number was not accepted during installation. Please help me fix this problem. Thanks, Jaime
Sorry, we can't help with that. CCDSoft was distributed by the old SBIG. We don't have a deal with Software Bisque, and on top of that they've discontinued CCDSoft.
Hi Doug, What does SBIG offer by way of software for stacking files? I have tried the ST-i color stacker and it is fairly useless. I am also familiar with the free Deep Sky Stacker, but that program yields poor results. Do you have something better for people who have purchased a camera? Thanks
Well of course we have MaxIm DL available, but it is not free. The IP version is very capable if you are looking at stacking and processing.
