why cant you redesign the FW8G to now feature a CMOS sensor?
It doesnt make sense to lose such a great FW especially with the 0.7x built in reducer which significantly helps when using it in conjunction with a AOX.

We're about to announce the new StarChaser SC-4, which has a built in focal reducer.

This version will have the same sensor. We do plan to switch to another sensor in due course, but that is not ready yet.

ok….hopefully you will feature a larger sensor in the next iteration so more guide stars become available, especially useful for long FL imaging.
