Color convert problems

    I am shooting with a SBIG ST-4000XCM camera. Yesterday I was targeting IC 2162, I captured with MaximDL 5 in autosave mode with a capture time of 200 seconds and binning 2 mode. When I try to convert the pictures to color with "Convert Color" I cannot extract any colors. Has anybody got any clue what is wrong? I have attached the FITS file in a zip format.

    The image is binned 2x2. That removes the Bayer matrix that encodes the color. You can't bin if you want color.
