    Hello,

I noticed tonight that my cooler on the AC4040 would not drop the temperature. I went back to last nights acquisition files and found the cooler stopped working middle of the night and middle of my run.

Are there any things I can do without sending in the camera for service to diagnose and repair? I've done power cycling and computer power down and reboot, to no avail.

    Thanks, Greg

    Some possibilities:
Check the power cable isn't loose / broken / damaged somehow.
    Check is the fan running?
If not, try the camera advanced settings and change from Auto Fan Speed to High speed.
    Does it run then?
Is it plugged with dust/dirt/bugs ?

Fan running (was already set to high),
Power cord fine. Camera will acquire images.
Sensor Temperature reports and changes with ambient
Power to the cooler reports moving from low to 100%
Blew out cooler fins and some dust/debris removed, but still no cooling at all.

Sounds like a service trip to California, correct?

Ottawa, not California. I will send you a link to the RMA form in a second.
