I'm looking to make a custom power cable for an STX to attach to a RigRunner (via PowerPole connectors).

Am I right in that Pins 1,5,6 go to the +ve and pins 2,3,4 to -ve ?

    Anything else I'm missing?

Anyone have a link to a third party power jack (assuming Diffraction don't sell a version with bare wires at one end).

    Thanks,

    Paul

    This connector is suitable:

Use heavy gauge wire, especially if you are using long cabling. The camera draws up to 10A at full cooler power, and if that causes too much voltage drop the camera will not have enough power. If that happens it will shut down the cooler to protect itself. (Tip: you can use six slightly smaller wires instead of two bigger wires... but they still need to be hefty. You can find voltage drop calculators online.)

I had thought to use 15A cable, "de-stranded" evenly across each of the 3 pins for +ve and -ve respectively. Is the potential 10A load on each pin or spread between them?

    Spread between them.
