Hello. I have been using me SBIG STL6303E camera + FW8-STL for more than 10 years. In recent years I experience dew formation, (in humid weather) on the filters and outside window of the CCD chamber (dessicant is OK). The dew forms only on the filter in front of the CCD chip. Is there a window heater internally the camera ? If yes, it may be faulty ? Can I test it somehow ? For now, I solve it somewhat by giving the CCD about 10 degrees (or more) less cooling. This is of course at the expense of noise. Does anyone have experience with this and possible solution ? Thanking in advance ! Erik.
