My notebook got wet in my observatory. I want to use my Win 7 computer. The camera was working on the Win 10. The SBIG is showing up in device manager, but when I try to connect with CCDPOS it says no camera can be found.

Sorry to hear about the wet computer.
Make sure the Win 7 computer has the SBIG Drivers installed:
    ftp://ftp.sbig.com/pub/SetupDriverChecker64.exe

Then use the SBIG Driver Checker icon on the desktop to check they are current, and update if not.
Next, use the SBIG Driver Checker Firmware tab to see if it will talk to the camera - get the firmware version from the camera.
If it talks, CCDops should work.

If it doesn't then I'll ask the obvious question - did the camera or cabling or power supply get wet too?

The camera is still working with the Win 10 computer...just a few keys are out. I just tried it. I tried that with the Win 7, still does not connect.

It must be something about your Win 7 machine then. Do you know it is 100% operational?

Your statement is ambiguous - am not sure what you mean when you say "I tried that".

Make sure you don't have CCDOPS and SBIGDriver Checker open at the same time.

Please confirm with the driver checker:
On the firmware tab, Get Firmware Version from Camera.
    What does it say?

If this is not working, it will be unable to get the firmware version.

    Next steps:
Unplug camera's USB cord from the computer. Unplug the camera power supply from the wall AC socket.
    Turn off the computer.
    Wait 30 seconds.
    Restart the computer. Login.
Plug the power supply into the wall AC again.
Plug the USB into the computer. Do you hear the USB connecting sound from the computer speakers?

If you DO hear it, try the Get Firmware Version again.

    Other things to try:
Another USB cable and another USB port on the computer.
    Unplug the camera USB.
Remove thge SBIGDriver Checker program from the Control Panel, applications.
Remove the SBIG driver from the device manager.
    Re-install the driver checker.
    reboot.
    Plug computer in again.

If this does not work, then we could arrange a TeamViwer / AnyDesk session to have a look.

Thanks for the suggestions. Again, this problem is limited to the Win 7 computer which I was hoping to use as a sub. The Win 10 still works with the camera, but some keys are out.

The Win 7 does "ding" when the USB is plugged in. I got an error message saying the driver could not be installed. When I click on the check firmware tab it says no connection to the camera. It sounds like the driver needs to be installed manually.

Is it Windows giving you this error message? Did you take a screenshot of the message?

It's important that you install the drivers FIRST before plugging in the camera.

No connection usually means the driver is not installed or there is a hardware problem.

In the driver checker, you should see something like:
    Driver Name Version Date
    =================================================
    sbigudrv.dll 4.99 Build 7 02-11-19
    sbigu64.sys 2.41.0.1338 01-27-15
    sbigpcam.hex 2.46 01-27-15
    sbiglcam.hex 2.20 01-27-15
    sbigfcam.hex 2.25 01-27-15
    sbigfga.bin 2004.11.10 01-27-15
    =================================================

Did you press the [Update] button on the driver checker?

Guess what...I turned the Win 7 computer into Win 10, reinstalled the SBIG drivers, and I am A-OK! I have complement you both actually on ease of installation and support. Thanks!
