My new STT 8300 filter wheel makes a "grinding" noise upon initialization as the wheel rotates. Is this normal? Rex
Rex, it cycles through on startup. It's running a sprocket so it will make some noise. You can call me all weekend. I am always available for support calls. Regards Tim
Thank you Tim. One last question. When I connect in the SkyX camera add on and cool the camera all is well. Sometimes I like to turn the fan off as I don't always need it. After a minute or so, it comes back on by itself when it's still plenty cool. Is that supposed to be? Rex
