I recently ordered seven 36mm to 1.25" Filter Inserts and had them shipped 2nd day air. The inserts are great and are exactly what I needed to enable me to use my brand new Astrodon LRGB & Narrowband filters that wouldn't thread into my CFW-10 in my FW8G-STT . (Astrodon has no Return Policy!) My questions is that I received an invoice yesterday from FedEx for "Duties, Tax, Customs, Other Fees". Will all orders made with SBIG and shipped to the USA now have similar additional costs?
That would be just for your local sales tax. There should not have been any duties etc. Brokerage is included in the shipping so we've covered it. You actually do owe local sales tax if you order from another state in the US, though you might get away without paying it. When you ask for ground shipping, we batch them together and send them to Ogdensburg NY on a truck once a week, and take care of brokering them through en masse. It's ground so slower but you shouldn't see any extra charges.
