Hi, we were having issues with our SBIG STX-6303 3 CCD Camera disconnecting often with RX timeouts. It required a power-cycle, and then would work again for a few images and then again timeout. We performed driver updates and then a firmware update was available so we tried that. Half-way through the firmware update there was another timeout error and the update was halted halfway through. Now we can no longer communicate with the camera. I have read that there is no way to fix this (e.g. no factory reset) and that it has to be sent in to be repaired. Is this still the case? How do I initiate this repair? Thanks for you help!
Please fill in this RMA form and we will send instructions on sending it in for repair: https://diffractionlimited.com/request-rma/
Thanks for the reply Colin. I will fill the form out asap. What is the general turn-around time for something like this? Also just out of curiosity. is their any other course of action we can take to fix this? I notice in another thread that a user had the exact same problem and it was put forward that you guys *may* be able to login remotely and do some sort of fix. Did that work out? Is that on the table? Thanks!
My colleague @Tim handles repairs and may be able to assist. Meanwhile, I suggest you have a look at this article: https://forum.diffractionlimited.co...connects-turn-off-usb-selective-suspend.7848/
