Wanted to share my early success with the AO-8T as a guider -- no frame registration required for a 36 x 4-minute sequence!

    Details:
    10 micron GM2000HPS II mount
Guiding with MaximDL and the AO-8T at 6 Hz
    Stellarvue SVR102-T (102-mm f/7) with field flattener
    SBIG STT-8300M cooled to -30°C, pixels binned 2x2 (3.1"/pixel)
    Baader 7-nm H-a narrowband filter
Simple stacking, bpm, and histogram stretch
Taken from light-polluted SoCal on an 85% humid evening a few nights ago

Thanks! It's nice when everything works!

It is an engineering marvel to watch thirty-six 4-minute frames scroll past and see only the noise vary.
