I am trying to take flats with a sky shoot. The camera does not have a gain setting? Using SGP even setting the exposure at 0.01 I still am getting a plain white image without any vignetting. How do I take the flats?

Sky Shoot? Do you mean one of the Orion SkyShoot cameras? There are many different models. You should probably go to them for technical support.

No. Just taking a picture at the blue sky with a very short exposure and/or low gain. How do I take flats with this camera?

    Oh, SKY FLATS.
What's the upper end of the histogram look like - eg if its over 45,000, then it's probably totally totally overexposed.
    Some tips:
Do it at twilight, 30-60 minutes before astronomical sunset.
Try putting a white T-shirt over the front of the scope.
    These cameras are super sensitive.
