FW8-8300 compatibility

    I'm considering upgrading from my ST-8300M to an STT-8300M. Is my FW8-8300 filter wheel compatible with the STT? I searched through the manual and forum but didn't see an answer.

    Mechanically they are not compatible, you would have to come up with some kind of adapter. Not sure I would recommend that. The STT wheel is a nice step up from the 8300 wheel, having tight integration with the camera and mechanical detents.

    Electrically the STT should be able to control it.

    The filters themselves can be used in an STT wheel.
