    Hi ....
I want to load MaximDl Pro onto my laptop so that I can take it on field trips. I already have it up and running on my home PC .... but the licence key codes seems to need MS Word to get the program verified.
How can I get the needed information onto my laptop ????

Uh no... Just save the license as a text file (e.g. notepad)

    Hi Doug ...
I have just spent a fruitless hour trying to get Maxim working on my laptop.
So far I simply copied the Maxim application file and a text file (from the original email containing all license keys, etc that was sent to me) onto a USB memory stick and loded it all up on my laptop.
Maxim seems to have loaded up OK onto my laptop ... but when I try to add the license key stuff I get a message saying that it is an invalid file :-(
I have tried the "Control-A Control-C" method which worked on my main PC ... but it doesn't work on my laptop.
My PC is Wn7 .. but my laptop is Win10.
    Any suggestions???

    1. Open the license in your email
    2. Do CTRL-A, CTRL-C
    3. Launch Notepad. Do CTRL-V
    4. Save the file, call it something like license.txt.
    5. Move the file to the new machine.
    6. Open the file in Notepad on the new machine.
    7. Do CTRL-A, CTRL-C

    Hi again Doug ...
Many thanks for this .... everything is now working on my laptop :)))) Problem solved.

Not to sure why it didn't work the first time I tried .... as far as I know I was using the same system as you suggested above .... but obviously I must have missed something out!

    Regards Mike
