It was cloudy last night so I decided to redo my calibration library. I had this error (see atached)pop up on my twice while I was taking flat field frames, then I setup fro an overnight run of dark frames. Eight images into the set, ( & after I left the computer) the same error happen which I found this morning. I'm using Maxim DL ver 6.30. This just started happening around last Nov - Dec time frame. What direction do I look to either solve or slow this down?
The problem started 6 months ago? One possibility is that a Windows Update made changes to your system, or something is mismatched. If you are running Windows 10, check this: https://forum.diffractionlimited.com/threads/windows-10-extra-updates.9664/ If you have Windows 11 instead, then: https://forum.diffractionlimited.com/threads/windows-11-extra-updates.9640/ Run Windows Update a couple times, and reboot after each. Then reset power management settings. Check this: https://forum.diffractionlimited.co...connects-turn-off-usb-selective-suspend.7848/ Let us know if that resolves it.
Thanks Colin, updating now. Will try again tonight. side note; when I get this error, it is NOT locking up Maxim. When I click the OK button on the error box, it's able to start imaging again. Last night it got 227 dark frames out of 295 scheduled before it error out.
Thanks for letting us know that. Can you take a screen shot of DL Config Utility and Upload it here? (Make sure to quit MaxIm first, and have the camera powered up).
I updated my computer, and I have not had the error in my last four overnight calibration data collections. Hopefully it's good to go.
