Resolved Installing SBIG STXL 16200 Drivers

    I have the above camera with the self guiding filter wheel that I have been using for almost 2 years very successfully. About 3 weeks ago my observatory computer hard drive failed. After being repaired I am attempting to reinstall all the drivers required to connect to and use the camera. I have downloaded the latsest version of the driver checker and when I run it in Administrator privileges I get an error that says I cannot connect to the SBIG Servers: 220 ProFTDP 1.3.5 Server Ready.

    I just cannot seem to get past this. I tried downloading CCDOPS with a similar result that it is an ftp site wanting a logon id and password.

    HELP!

    Hi Larry, our server maintenance is done, you can get the drivers now.

    Hi Larry,

    I am not able to download drivers with the drive-checker application I get the error again.

    Hi,

    I used another copy of the checker and now it worked!

    The issue with the FTP server is being investigated.

    Hi Haig,
    When I try to download a new version of the drive checker 64 over the internet site ftp://ftp.sbig.com/pub/SetupDriverChecker64.exe it says that I now right to view the site!
