Just wondering if it's possible that extreme cold could affect the operation of the internal shutter. I am suspecting maybe a problem with shutter opening properly during a series of light frames where they start off fine but after a few frames they start looking more like darks with just a small amount of signal getting through. I believe this issue has coincided with fairly significant cold weather, around -15-20C. I have attached the examples, one normal and the other not.
    Thanks

What is the serial number of your camera?

Very early units sometimes have trouble in the cold, but given your manufacturing date (2016) that isn't a factor.

I'd keep an eye on it, and if it continues to cause problems I would send it in for service.

Ok thanks. Would you recommend doing the last available firmware update? I am running 2.53 and apparently there is a 2.54

That update didn't affect shutter operation. It was an improvement to the guider readout.
