Just wondering if it's possible that extreme cold could affect the operation of the internal shutter. I am suspecting maybe a problem with shutter opening properly during a series of light frames where they start off fine but after a few frames they start looking more like darks with just a small amount of signal getting through. I believe this issue has coincided with fairly significant cold weather, around -15-20C. I have attached the examples, one normal and the other not. Thanks Dave
Very early units sometimes have trouble in the cold, but given your manufacturing date (2016) that isn't a factor. I'd keep an eye on it, and if it continues to cause problems I would send it in for service.
Ok thanks. Would you recommend doing the last available firmware update? I am running 2.53 and apparently there is a 2.54
