    M31 :: stack of 3 each R - G - B at 10 minutes each.
    M45 :: single mono image exposed 10 minutes.

    A little early int eh season for M45 as it was low in the sky. A smoothing algorithm
    educed noise nicely with some effect on the nebulosity.

    CCD : STL11000m
    Mount: AP 900
    Scope - AP 130 GTX operating at f/4.5 via a 0.74 telecompressor

    Great shots! Nice to see those STL cameras still pulling in the photons!

    Thanks Doug....

    The STL has been trouble free for close to 15 years and the software as well.

    I have an STC-7 on order and may relegate the STL to wide field using a
    35mm lens with the camera attached to the bottom of the CW shaft taking
    a wide field while the STC does it's thing at the telescope end. This setup
    worked well with a 35mm Nikon and Pentax 6x7 back in the film days.

    Best,

    Hi Tim,
    Would you mind if we used your M31 image in social media / marketing? Send me a PM, and let me know if you have a handle for credit.
