Hello, I´m an astrophotographer who's been happy with Maxim dl for many years. I`ve just installed Maxim 6.16 directly to my new laptop Hp with Windows 10 Home. I could "Load File" my license correctly- I can see my data there- but when I pushed OK a message arose : " Maxim Dl must now close to allow the new license to take effect." ... According to Mercedes, I had right to upgrade from the version 6.10 to 6.16... Now I can open the program, but the "Toggle Camera Control" and "Toggle Observatory Control" are disabled and there's no way to use maxim for imaging... That's my passion and main work. So the problem does not go that way.
You must have used your old license, which was MaxIm DL IP. No equipment control. I will send you your current license via private message.
