I have installed MaximDL 7.1.2 on one of my computers. It is my understanding that it is good for two different machines as long as it is only operating on one at a time. I have transferred the new license to a second computer. When I try to connect to the camera controls on the second machine it acts like it times out and just shuts down. Any insight?
Likely there is an obsolete Microsoft Visual C++ 2022 runtime component on the machine. Download it here, and install it: https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe I recommend you install it on both PCs, just so you are current.
