I installed ASCOM Platform for my camera 2 [guide camera] and when I open MDL, Camera 1 shows it is an ASCOM camera. So, as per earlier instructions, I am to go to ASCOM settings, click Advanced and it will bring up the ASCOM Chooser. Then select the QSI CCD Camera from the list in the ASCOM Chooser. Then click [Properties] and set up the QSI. AND, when I click properties -- everything goes wrong. The response I get is Driver Setup Dialog Error COMException - The remote procedure call failed - (Exception from HRESULT:0x800706BE) The SetupDialog method of driver "ASCOM.QSI.Camera" threw an exception when called. This means that the setup dialogue would not start properly. Please screen print or use CTRL+C to copy all of this message and report it to the driver author with a request for assistance. I suggest you reach out to ATIK for support on the QSI. I've never seen that one before. Did you install the QSI Core software from Atik? https://www.atik-cameras.com/qsi-core-astronomy-software/
